4 - Total Trust and Just Showing Up

The main lesson on first phase is that individuals cannot survive in wartime.
For Navy Seals trust in one another is the key trait for survival in war.

Do you completely trust Christ and his promises in the Bible?
Can you completely be trusted to obey Christ's commands?
An army based on faith requires TOTAL trust in your commander, your team, and yourself.

Every day the seal instructors are planting obstacles for the students to overcome. Most of the obstacles are mental. Every obstacle the student overcomes makes him stronger.
Do you view obstacles as something to overcome thus making you stronger? James 1:2

The difference between living and dying often depends on on how a SEAL platoon prepares before the battle is even fought. A seal must anticipate problems and solve them, before the problem kills him and his teammates. Merely showing up and paying attention is not enough.

Does Christ's army just show up and pay attention or do they plan and train for the spiritual battle taking place on this earth?
Does Christ's army even understand that this is a daily battle of life and death?
Even though you may not be on the front line of the battle against Satan, do you realize that Satan is waging a daily attack trying to seperate you from your team and commander?
