2 - Quitting Before Success
What is your reason for being a Christian? There is a BIG difference in saying you are a Christian and being a Christian. The Christians who only wants eternal salvation will have a tough time in the battle against Satan.
Andy Stanley said: "Salvation is free, but there is a cost to follow Jesus" If you are going to follow Christ, be prepared of the cost to follow him to the front lines of the battle. The cost is higher than you think. The cost is not about money or service it is more about your desires and will. Are you ready to surrender all to follow Christ?
Most Seal students who enter the Buds training think they know the cost to become a Seal. Most want to say they are Seals - few are prepared to be SEALs. Time weeds out the students from the Navy Seals. No one can manipulate their way to success. No one can buy their way into this program. As you will see, the cost to be a SEAL is much higher than most of them anticipate. For Navy Seals, quitting begins when the students realize this is only the beginning.
